Dadsworld is the project of Bay Area educator Joshua Fenton. Josh was born in Los Angeles, California, one of five children. He attended UCSC and graduated with a degree in Political Philosophy. In 2007 Joshua was ordained as a Conservative Rabbi from the Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies, the Conservative movement's west coast seminary. Joshua also received two masters degrees in Rabbinics and in Education respectively, from the American Jewish University.
Since 2007 Josh has worked at the forefront of family engagement and education, winning numerous awards for program design, engagement, and education. He's led workshops for parents, teens, teachers, and families on a variety of topics and speaks and writes nationally on those subjects. Josh is a divorced, single father of four living in Berkeley, California. Dadsworld is Josh's newest project and emblematic of his commitment to, and passion for supporting fathers and fatherhood. When not teaching or writing, he enjoys playing music, cooking, snowboarding, playing basketball, coaching youth sports, gardening, and spending time outside in nature with his family.
